We welcome you to accompany the 'Life of Leisure' Group of cyclists in their older years but very strong in spirit, coming together into the harbour of happiness. A busy person who cycles has a rational and expensive recreational hobby but a day or two of cycling a week gives a brief relaxation and splendid form for keeping oneself active and young at heart.
Each Thursday this young spirited group take to the leaf strewn lanes, by the side of rivers, grassy meadows and an occasional local hill. Mixed with fresh air and sunshine and where earlier journey's had been taken when quite young, every corner is now turned with a new vision and an enjoyment of liberty away from the main thoroughfares and thoughts of times passed.
The Thursday group of 'GRAYS' in the autumn of their golden years, ride for health and to enjoy the company, expressing glory of pleasure and joy, holding together the camaraderie of the wheel, goodwill and enjoying everlasting memories, heartily welcome others to ride their cycles for fun and join with us.
An assembly of third age persons without denomination, however membership of a national organization (CTC or BCF) is recommended for each and every cyclist's protection, and also for the safety of other highway users.
