Hostelling Update. Dear All - Here is a reminder of the weekend away offered by Bristol CTC.

Friday 22 August - Monday 25 August 2008 (Bank Holiday weekend).
Caerhafod Lodge, Pembrookeshire

at £13.00 per person per night, entirely self catering. The hostel has three rooms for four people, one
for five and one for six (23 places in total). Each room is en suite with a shower. According to the
map there are three pubs within two miles. The hostel is near the coast, between St Davids and Fishguard,
apparently you can just about see Ireland on a clear day. There is lockable storage for bicycles, a
free to use washing machine and a kitchen. All bedding is provided. This is regarded as a good area for
coastal walking as well as cycling. I intend to ensure day rides are available for all abilities
(i.e. a choice of long and short lead rides on the Saturday and Sunday). The hostel's website is at:
www.caerhafod.co.uk/

Currently I propose to travel to Swansea by Train and then cycle the remaining 70 miles on the Friday and
do this in reverse on the Monday, railway engineering works permitting.
